I have a customer who wants me to make him some caliber conversion sleeves for a 577-450 MH to 410 shot gun shell. Sounds reasonable and he has an example piece that is over 20 yrs old but is no longer made.

Anyone have any recommendations for material for something like this?

Jess Briley started his good sized business here in his garage making "tube sets" for the skeet shooters. These consisted of 17-4 PH chambers and extractors attached to hard anodized 6061 aluminum tubes that were relieved most of their length for weight reduction. They were made for at least the O/U Browning twelve gauge guns and were offered in 16 (?), 20 , 28 and .410.
