Going back about eight or ten years ago...:codger:

There was mention on here of a gentleman who had privately published / distributed a book that included instructions for trouble shooting and adjusting feed lips and followers in bolt actions in order to get them to feed reliably.

IIRC the gentleman had dropped off the radar for a while due to ill health.

Can anyone remember the name of the gentleman and his book?

Is the gentleman still with us, and is the book available?

Many thanks

the smoke and mirror of the feed cylce, kevin wyatt

Just got it myself.

only $8.00 doesn't explain as much as I'd like and its more of an instruction manual for their magazines, but certainly worth 8.00

look under magazine boxes

if their is another book or source for magazine feeding alterations/design I would like to find it also.

Not what you originally asked, but...

Kuhnhausen's gun smithing book on Mauser rifles has a nice section on adjusting the feed on Mauser rifles. The principles he explains apply to any magazine. If you can draw inferences and parallels, you can apply what he teaches to most magazines.

Duane Weibe published a book on this very thing a few years ago. You might get hold of him at Customgunandrifle.com
