    Question Mossberg 146BA bolt...

    Hi Everybody!

My uncle gave me a Mossberg model 146BA 22LR rifle... that was equipped with the super-safe 'bolt-less' action. He actually found it in a house he bought some 35 years ago- he removed the bolt to keep the weapon kid-safe, and never recalled where he hid the bolt...

He gave me the rifle, and after searching all the regulars, nobody seems to have a bolt for this bugger.

It doesn't have a high market or collector value, but I'd like to put it to use as a groundhog-gitter and target-plinker.

Anyone know of a similar bolt that I could either modify or pattern-from to get a replacement?

    Default Mossberg Bolt

    .
Keep visiting the local Gun Shows. It might take a bit of time, but lots of these guys have a lot of parts for sale. ASK anyone who seems to have a lot of gun parts on the table..........many times all their stock is not displayed and they have boxes of it underneath.

See if you can pick up a copy of "Shotgun News". Lots of stuff listed there.

Try "Gun Parts" in West Hurley, New York, or google "Mossberg" on the internet. Also, there is a .22 forum on the internet....Rimfirecentral. Mossberg is one of the forum categories.

    good luck
