I recently bought a 5c collet chuck for my lathe. I cut a 45 degree crown on a 1911 barrel using the chuck and collet. Is this ok or not. I did not indicate the bore because my indicator is broke and I'm waiting for the new one to arrive. Just wondering if anyone else uses this method for 1911 work?
