Somewhat OT - Bronze Cleaning Brush Life

Lately I've been having a problem with short life of 12 gauge bronze cleaning brushes. For many years I have been using KleenBore brand brushes from the local gun shop. lately they only seem to last for one or two cleanings. They look OK but become rather loose in the bore as if they were undersized. I've compared a newer one to an older one I had in a drawer and there appear to be fewer wires in each row of the newer one. Even the central spine of two twisted heavy wires appears different.

In short, I suspect they have cost reduced these brushes with a resulting reduction in quality so I must seek out a better brand. Does anyone still make a brush that will stand up to at least a half-dozen cleanings and where would I buy them?

UPDATE:

I bought some Montana X-Treme brushes in 12 ga and so far the durability seems quite good. I will also try some of the Brownell's brushes next time I order.
