I've been looking at monopod designs lately and my first tought was....wow they are expensive for what they are.
I was thinking of fabricating one myself, a simple version of a monopod and here's what i am thinking.
A pillar like insert threaded inside to accept a simple threaded foot. The pillar would be either glass bedded or glued to the buttstock. Kinda like the Choate Ultimate sniper stock pod.
Anybody has any ideas.
