I’m setting up my TM1P and have a problem with the coolant. The machine has the high flow coolant option. I wired the machine up to single phase 240v power and set the 2 voltage selection jumpers. Everything but coolant works fine. From a cold start the coolant flows properly but stops about 10 to 15 minutes later. The motor is way hotter than expected. Haas states this machine can run on single phase! Troubleshooting the problem I notices the ¾ hp coolant pump is 3 phase. Is this my problem? If so why is this unit advertised as single / three phase.

I'm not sure about there updated web site. But before it stated the high flow coolant option required 3 phase.
I'm suprized It ran at all if your single phasing the motor.
You will not be using all legs of the windings and over working the others, you will absolutly short this motor very soon, and most likely caused it serious damage already
(Most electric motor winding insulation is rated for 140c-160c maximum temp.)

As stated above a VFD could power the coolant motor, on a separate switch to turn on and off or rig a relay switch with your coolant pump plug for te on off
