Haas HPCL divide by zero error when G70 feeding

I have a Haas HPCL lathe and version 8 of the software. When trying to make a G70 pass after a G71 with a feed lower than .001", I get a divide by zero error. A feed of .001" on the G70 block works just fine. I called Haas and they said it was bug in the version 8 with tool nose compensation on.

Any ideas if there is a work around?

Has this showed up on a TL Lathe with version 8 software?

Does switching to Version 9 solve it?

I tried it on my TL2.
F=0.001 (but I'm metric), no problem. My version is L0905E. Maybe you post some short test code that fails on your lathe, so I can try it out to be sure.

Haas said that Version 9 corrects the issue. I guess it is not a big problem as .001" is acceptable for most of the stuff I do.

It apparently works finer than .001" with TNC off, but I was making a hemisphere in SS and wanted a finer finish.

Haas service came out and updated the software, which included a new board with more memory(?). All warranty. Nice new look which makes much more sense. Haven't tried the feed rate issue yet, but it is supposed to fix it.
