Thread: Haas TM1 dimensions

While daydreaming about buying a Haas TM-1 with a friend who owns a TM-1, he mentioned that a TM-1 won't fit in a residential garage. He seems to be right, my garage framing is about 80 inches high and he said the shortest he was able to get his TM-1 while getting it his through his commercial door frame was about 90 inches.

Does anyone have experience with getting a TM-1 into a residential garage?

I have seen everything from a TM to VF-4 in a residential garage with standard door. Some will require more parts than others to get under the door. A TM-1 will definitely fit, just not necessarily as shipped.
