Hello,

Basically I needed to clean out coolant flush line Hose as it was jam packed with chips and not coming out the other end. In order to fix it I had to remove Z axis cover.

It came off in a breeze.. and now Im having a hard time putting it back on.

Any tips on how to get this thing back on ?

Any help much appreciated.

I think its similar to my VF0. It was a long time ago so its something like this:

layout the covers on a table as they mount and mark the lowest as 1 then 2, 3...

Sort the side strips and mark then left 1 etc then right 1, 2..

Assemble one side right or left as you please but just snug

Use some temporary 3 - 4" studs on the opposite side (two is plenty, they give you a place to hang the strips as you assemble)

Put the first side strip on - no screws

Start with the lower panel and slip in the "tight side and then hold against face and install strip

Repeat

I wedged my foot against it until I had the last on in then installed the screws tight

Lower the z axis and install the screws that hold the top panel to the head

Go have a beer!

Good luck and be careful!

slightly different but we figured it out.

Top leaf goes in first then last one you have to just angle it to get it back onto the rails. I was having a really hard time because you have to attach the top one back up temporary first or you'll be fighting gravity. Silly me.

Thanks for the reply tho!
