TL-1: Tired of the wet feet, wet floor, wet pants... my solution...

This was a long time coming, but finally hit the limit of my tolerance. Here is my coolant-drip solution for my TL-1. Self-explanatory.

Nice install. I used a short piece of eaves trough on an old power hacksaw to solve the same problem of some of the coolant hitting the floor.

Hello,

Nice solution, we did something like that and still had coolant on the floor. The ultimate solution is a pan under the machine. Grainger Item # 3FTZ8 fits perfectly. We added a pump in the tray to pump coolant back into sump.

We're running our brand-new TL-1 with cutting oil- I'm definitely going to be adding some drip control!

So, after about 100 gallons of chips, the experience has been a good one. It's about a 90% solution. Still some occasional splash, but seeing the rivulets of coolant heading back to the tank... Priceless.

That's awesome! Paint that baby gray and paint the red HAAS logo on it and it will look like it's part of the machine. Haas will have that on their new design after seeing this post!
