Is there a market for used parts?

We scrapped a 1990 VF1 because of electrical problems, saved the spindle, transmission , spindle motor and a few other pieces. Does this stuff have any value or should I just bite the bullet?

I would buy a gear-box for my 2001 VF2 right now if I could find one for cheap. So, I could re-build it in my spare time. And, not need to put the machine down for any longer that it took to actually swap the box.

I would be interested in any of the electrical boards if you still have them working of not. Would you send a list of parts and prices? Thanks.
