Need Quick answer on moving a VF-2

I need to lift a 1995 VF-2 on to a truck and need to know if a 10,000lb forklift with 6 ft fork will be ok? The machine is said to be 8,000lbs and also which side do I lift from to make it safe. TO put it on the truck I pretty much need to lift it from the back or front but I could use a good answer on this and FAST... Thanks Much!!!!! ZGOO

Spend the money to have it moved. If you get up in the air and you drop it, you are screwed.

I did all of the rigging on my 92 VF2, lift from the back that is where most of the weight is. I think I have a 10,000 lb lift truck should be fine that is what I used.

Lift from the back, center the table and towards the "back" as well, this will help with balance.
You should be ok with a 10g lift, but remember.......that 8,000 lbs. increases the higher you lift. That's why you want as much weight towards the back, rather than on the tips of the forks.
Be careful.
