Thread: Where is TL2 Automatic Mode

Hi All,

Does anybody know how to get our TL2 to call the automatic mode up onto the screen. This is the one with the tabs along the bottom that you select for, turning, threading etc.

We have the Toolroom Lathe Addendum that comes with the main manual, but it doesn't tell us how to get it to come up on the screen. We have searched through settings etc. but can't see anything.

Is there a setting or a parameter that we need to 'turn on' for us to be able to use it this way if we choose.

It's the intuitive programming screen that you're looking for correct?
I dont use it but last time i checked you need to go into your parameters page.
It is in parameter 315, activate Intuitive Program Sys from a 0 to a 1, that is if you have purchased that option depending how old you machine is.
Make sure your e-stop is pressed and your parameter lock is off in your settigns page. I think it is setting 22.

Just press the hand jog button and the page should come up if the option is turned on.

Yea you're right it is the ips page. I will have a look at the parameter tomorrow. Not sure how much we want to use it but would like to investigate how helpful it could be for us. I used it for a short while a few years back, but not enough to remember how good or bad it was. We'll give it a whirl and see how we get on.

CBlair - yea we know how it should come up but the problem is that it isn't so we were guessing it was a parameter or setting. Seems like it could be parameter 315 as Handscrape as said above.

I'll report back once we see how we get on.
