Schneeberger grinding machine has four super precision spindle bearings mounted in pairs back to back configuration.
Inner rings are tightened with nut. Outer rings one pair is fixed with flange to cast iron body seat and another seems floating to accept temperature changes and axial movements. Cast iron body of floating side has little wear-outer rings have been rotating and result is that seat is not tight anymore. I am talking about very little wear but still it is problem because new set of bearings outer rings tend to rotate. Any ideas how to fix it ? Only bearing glue is in my mind.
