Hello Machinists,
This is my first post here, so let me know what additional information you might need. The shop I work for recently took possession of an old Rivett 608 metal lathe. My main question revolves around the switches we need to operate it, a new on and off switch has already been installed, but with this style of lathe do we also need to include a forward and reverse switch? I can provide model and part numbers for the switch that has already been installed and the motor if anybody has any ideas or feedback.
