Help setting up my 'new' Prentice Brothers engine lathe

I recently picked up a good sized antique metal lathe, a Prentice Brothers Engine lathe... Somewhere on the order of 15" diameter, and 40" long.

I'm very new to machining, I just turned my very first piece yesterday, and it went remarkably well. But, I know I've got some work to do before I get more serious with it...

I've been doing a lot of reading, and a lot of youtubing for techniques, and projects, and need to knows. One thing I know, is that I need to level my machine :P

I've done the research, I know how to go about actually leveling it, and that I need a machinist level. But the problem for me is, my lathe doesn't have any feet to adjust... Just big cast iron legs with roughly 7/16" unthreaded holes in the bottom. And my garage floor is very uneven concrete.

I've been contemplating making my own, but I'd like to hear some suggestions from people who know better than I... I've also been looking at machinist jacks, to see if they might be modified or used...

These almost look like bolt on leveling feet...
