Need advice on tuning/reconditioning Lathe

Hello

I am a mentor for a High school robotics team and we have been given a Edison 1340gh lathe. It is way out of alignment. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to go to get someone to look at it to give us some suggestions on who we can get to service/check over the machine to get it tuned up so that we could use it?

We are in Memphis, Michigan which is as far north in Macomb County as you can get. About an hour north of Detroit.

Do you have a manual for it ? Is the machine leveled? Does the spindle head sit on flat surfaces? Many times the lathes that sit on flat surfaces go out of alinment if there was a crash. Easy fix...
