HISTORY:
This machine was purchased in October 2010 Q4 and commissioned by Local Hurco Rep for a plastic machining company. In it's first year it only cut plastic and had aprox 185 hours runtime.
It was then moved to new factory location , November 2011, where it sat unplugged and unused (purchased from 1st owner January 2013) until I recommissioned it in February 2013 (last photo).
VMX50 was the main "big parts" machine , small parts were done on a VM20 , VMX42 was used as a back-up machine (large parts). Work mix - 99% Aluminum/ 1% Steel/ SS.
September 2016 Second owner closed the doors, between September 2016 till August 2017 the machine was moved 3 times which is why the front panels have wrinkles and the doors are not alligned.
I purchased the machines from the Landlord (vmx42 , vmx50 , vm20 , tm8) .I am a Master Mechanic and I took care of all of the 2cd owners machines for over a year.2012-13

Thailand is a tropical environment , high humidity for 9 months of the year and Hot 12 months. Machines here are more likely to have an "operator" than a machinist in front of them, which leads to a lot of lazy cleaning.
Machine was shut of and left with coolant pan and conveyor full of coolant and chips under machine so any scratches got a bit of rust and paint bubbles, the water based "machine oil" dried up to a gooey mess that softened paint. I have washed it and pressure washed the heavy stuff and of course the soft paint came off. Photos are after washing.
Machine runs as it should and can go back to work ( after installing way cover ) there was a temporary plastic cover which I discarded. Ran warm up for 30 minutes, then loaded program and let it run for 2 hours with no alarms , ran at 150% rapids and axis, ran at 20% speeds, never an alarm.
The 220 to 110 Volt AC transformer (original is a toroidal) was replaced with a generic transformer.
Needs a new WayCover , working on getting pricing.
Needs some front door seals, working on replacing with non-OEM

Hurco would have you believe only they can supply replacement parts, PM me if you need some help.8-)
