it turns out they cost--$300!

Yes, thats without a stand or shipping- but it doesnt seem like much of a deal to me to sell a $300 tool for $300, used.

They are a great bender, the best for tubing.

I'm headed there Monday evening to pick it up. I'm going to ask the owner to move a bit on the price. He also has a smaller bender listed for $100. Maybe a package deal.

I paid 279 for mine about 6 years ago, add for dies, stand and degree wheel, not a real bad deal, I could use the 1" dies if you dont want em', save me from making them

I did buy the bender, it was in barely-used condition, the seller threw in an expensive angle gauge, some welding corner magnets, and six 6' sticks of 1" 1020 tube. All in all, a reasonable deal.

I think I'll be keeping the die, that's going to be a useful size for me.
