I need to reduce the number of lathes around here... ( NEVER thought I would say that!)

Here is a CL add about the machine..

The machine is in good shape and even though I have owned it for 34 years it's taking up space and resources...

I think so... Andy and I are about to the point of striping them both down, makeing a grinding attachment for the planer, with a grit containment system, and just rebuilding them both.. Bob got the motors on mine working pretty well this weekend so I have confidence in at least that part.. They also checked the spindle and bearings and they were fine also. Just assorted issues with the gearbox and apron..

didn't think that would take long, congrats! I've been keeping an eye on texas craigslist as we're moving to San Antonio this summer and that popped up on one of my searches. Great deal for that area by the looks of it.
