Maho 800P for sale. Added Variable Speed Motor for 4th Axis (Rotary) Table Movement

I am posting this on behalf of a friend, who has owned his own machine shop for 40+ years. He is now semi retired and is selling off some of his machines and tooling that he now longer has a need for.

He has a Maho 800P that he purchased from General Dynamics in Michigan back in 2010. This has the 40 National Tool Holder. While the computer display would light up when turned on, it was not functioning for controlling the machine when he purchased it. He also purchased a second Maho 800P for spares (this spare machine had no motor or gearbox but did have a computer and misc electric controls and the intent was to use this for spares for the first machine).

He added a variable speed motor for 4th axis (rotary) table movement. The project that he was going to use this on was cancelled, so he never got around to diagnosing why the computer control was not working. Machine runs, as you are able to manually control all the machine movement. The only thing that is not working is the computer control

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but are these true CNC machines, or are these the ones that can only feed one axis at a time?
