Very nice machine. These are very accurate grinding machines, the best drill grinder available. You can easily and accurately split the point on the smallest drill you can fit in there. I used one for several years. Looks like a lot of new unused tooling as well, good luck with the sale.

For your possible humor, I found out yesterday those larger collets cost $214 each ! That would mean GM had $7,276 worth of collets just in the 3/4" to 1" sizes !!!

It's always been a source of amazement how many sellers try and sell Optima drill grinders with *no* tooling.....not even a 4 jaw chuck..nothing. Where does all the Optima tooling end up...in a dumpster ??

For example- 1" Dia. Optima Universal DRILL GRINDER, OPTICAL COMPARATOR | eBay Capacities to grind this 'n that.... but capacity to grind nothing as it is.

I guess this means if I ever get around to visiting your neighborhood Don, lunch is on you? :D
LOL....sure ! FWIW, in the few years before Optima went out of business I noticed their capacity went from 1" to 3/4"....probably to avoid those larger collets.
