Hi,

I am interested in getting a Monarch 10ee. I am located in San Diego. I know there is one near El Cajon on CL but too much for it and it is not under power.
I am interested in one that I can see running!

I would prefer something near me.

There’s one on bidspotter. Auction is listed as Michigan but the lathe is located in Parma Ohio by the description.

Before even worrying about distance or condition, how much is "too much"?

Be aware that PM's Monarch forum community has over quite a few years now, pretty much put to death the myth that they cannot affordably be powered-up, and by real folks, no witchcraft involved. We have LOTS of options on that by this late date.

Accordingly, fewer are being left idle or scrapped. Prices have gone up, best ones held onto longer and more firmly.
