Hello all,

Trying to free up shop space here and this is the next thing on the list. Only thing we use this SAG 22 for now is roughing big holes into parts. Was used last week to make 3 holes in aluminum and before that was maybe early last year.

The auto feed lever is finicky, as in sometimes holds and sometimes doesn't. The hand wheels have a little play in them before they engage movement, due to age (obviously).

Machine needs a deep clean for sure, but other then that it works great.

The book is in almost perfect condition. Posted some pics of blowups to show how clean it looks.

Looking for $4,000 OBO.

What condition are the ways under the guards in?

The ways are in very good condition, no deep gashes anywhere and very smooth to the touch.

The handle shown in the top right of the above picture only rotates about a 1/4 turn. Didn't want to force anything as it most likely just needs to be cleaned.

Top half of the ways in this picture were very quickly cleaned to show the difference.

I cleaned the ways for about 10 secs to show that there is no rust on them.

What about the ways that the carriage slides on, the ones under the metal covers. I've seen a few Grazianos were even the ways under the covers were worn

Is that not what the second picture shows? or am I missing something

Edit: I think I know what you mean, It will have to wait until Monday.

A very lite polish with some WD-40 and its nice and clean. No gashes that I can see or feel of any kind.
