INGERSOLL machine: I was told it might be a gear grinder. Any ideas???


GOULD & EBERHARDT 60S: This machine looks like a gear hobber to me but is classified as a gear gasher on a few websites. Can anyone tell me the difference between a gear GASHER and a gear HOBBER? Here are a few pictures of this machined as well.
