Hey guys, a coworkers father(passed away) was a tool maker. Every now and then he will give odds and ends from from Their she'd. Any idea what they go to?
Thanks in advance.
Allan

The rest looks like roller bearings

Vast majority are dowel pins. A few odd ejector pins, lathe bits, a center drill etc.

Value? String 'em up as a necklace and tell folks you get them from the Dowelai Lama.

Are the dowel pins for alignment of two objects? Are the ejector pins the tapered ones? How are the ejector pins used?

the three standing up are studded head punches and the one laying down is a ball lock punch that go into dyes. jonathan
