FS: 12 Schmidt Presses, assorted sizes and styles
Howdy All,
I have 12 Schmidt Presses for sale, details and photos below. All are high quality and made in Germany, and all functional with obvious defects noted. These are super useful in about any shop, and can be set up for general pressing duties as well as tooled for small bending, punching, shearing, marking, staking, and other special operations. Priced at what I think should be screaming deals for quick sale...offers considered, especially for multiples. Shipping additional, at cost, please forward your zip for a quote.

Nice ! I'll be PM'ing you over the weekend.
-
If I remember these correctly, they provide a sharp sudden "snap" to the part as they load a spring. Am I correct?
-
Ill take a bunch. PM sent on 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 5
-
Donald - Sure would like to purchase #3! PM sent. Thanks! A.T.

@oldster,
Well, on the toggle presses due to the crankshaft action apply maximum force right at the end of the stroke. This I suppose could give the part a little snap action.
The rack and pinion presses, on the other hand, apply constant force throughout the stroke.
Best,
Donald

Well I am finding it hard to tell but which ones are still for sale? I have some interest but one of my neighbors will be very interested in these as he has asked me in the past to make him some but we couldnt agree on a price.

Wow, these didn't last long. I guess my "screaming deal" prices were true.
As of now, pending payment, only #8 and poor #0 are still available.
Thanks to all. If anything changes (ie. no payment), I'll be sure to update...
Kind Regards,
Donald

#0 looks like a good project.
PM sent.

Press #0 sold,
#8 still available.
Thanks!

#0 arrived in great shape (or at least in exactly the same shape it left in).
Thanks!

#3 arrived today in excellent condition! It is really smooth operating and I love it. Guy down the hall from me saw it when I was carrying it out to the car and wanted one for reloading! He was reloading large rounds for hunting in Africa! (I will use it for model trains.) Thank you very much!
