Default FS South Bend 9C metal lathe - $400 - DFW

Early 9" South bend lathe, probably prewar.
9C with 36" bed, so probably 18" between centers.

cosmetics are awful as you can see, but it seems to be pretty good mechanically.
There is no wear ridge on the bed, everything moves as it should. A bit of endplay on the crossfeed.
All the change gears are present as shown
    Tailstock chuck
Outside jaw set for the 3-jaw chuck
No toolholders, but the buyer would likely want to put a QCTP on it.
    110V power
    stand included

This is a good restoration prospect IMO.
It came with a larger lot, but is surplus to my needs.

    $400 firm.
    Local pickup only
Trades considered - Nice Burke #4 or other small horizontal, Powermatic 1200 drillpress, Powermatic vertical bandsaw, firearms.
