I have a 1930's (?) Lodge and Shipley A model lathe that I would like to sell. It has a 14" swing and is an extended length machine. It comes with a 3 jaw, 4 jaw, and collet chuck. 2 steady rests and a tapering attachment. I really do not want to haul this thing to the scrapyard, but it is way too big for any work that I do. The Price is $800 OBO.

length, weight, spindle bore, and motor hp please. Interested in this, but wont be able to get up that way till after Christmas.

Well I can't really afford it but please let me know if its going to the scrapper ill pay you what he will pay you.

I really don't need another though and it might sit tarped for awhile.

it might sit tarped for awhile.

That's really not such a terrible thing. I've got 42,280 lbs sitting under used billboard signs (so much better than tarps)

Just make sure you are always reapplying oil and fighting the rust.

It makes the purists squirm, but tarped for a while is much better than getting scrapped.

If I could get some answers I would likely buy it. As it is, I can't even line up transportation because the length and weight are none standard and aren't listed.
