Victor 1740T in Colorado Springs freadinor sale

Nice recent Taiwan manufacture (2003 I believe) 7.5HP machine located in Colorado Springs for sale. The model is 1740T by Victor. There is a Newall DRO installed already for you. The machine also comes with 3 jaw & 4 jaw chucks, faceplate, steady rest and follow rest. Also included is the original toolbox with spindle adapter, etc. It's pretty loaded. I am looking at an upcoming move and while I looked for this lathe for a few years, I just cannot move it as quick as I'll need to move.

This came out of a local custom machine making shop used only for turning down the ends of large ballscrews for the machines they made. They sold it when they moved up to a CNC machine for this step. When I got it I changed out the 440V main motor for a 220V 7.5HP motor and rewired the rest of the machine for 220V 3 phase. I will include a 20HP rotary phase converter for another $350 if you need it.

The only thing I know which is wrong with this tool is the lube leaks out of the carriage past the lubrication pull knob over time, so I just put in a cup then squirt it for a bit before I use it.

I have made bolt-on skate system for the machine so it will roll to the end of the garage and then can easily be pulled onto a rollback truck for loading. I am asking $6500. Please contact me at [email protected] for quickest response.
