Consumer Price Index Remains Unchanged in December 2011

The United States Department of Labor has released the Consumer Price Index through the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Consumer Price Index surveys the price of a fixed market of goods and services purchased by consumers. According to the report, the CPI was unchanged in December 2011.

The values may not change, but what about the items used to develop the index.

Used to be beef, now it's chicken, soon it will be chicken lips. The costs will remain the same.

Any person on this board knows that their dollar buys less at the grocery store though. We're not nearly all as stupid as the politicians think.
