Thread: Coatings for form/ draw dies

Hi all, Lee here, I've been a member of this site for a while but this may be my first post. I'm looking for companies, preferably in the north of UK, that coat draw dies to prevent wear/ pick up/ galling. We're running a few dies here that have to be run without lube (customer spec), punching and drawing mild steel parts for auto manufacture. Any suggestions anyone.

search for a process called Thermal diffusion or toyota diffusion. In th usa there is a place called Tool Dynamics in Columbus, IN. greatest thing ever for deep drawing tools IMHO
