Thread: Inquiry for 2D Routing Services - Exploring Professional Options

Not necessarily machinist work, but thought someone might be able to help (I apologize in advance)

I currently run two small CNC routers to make a lot of parts from 1/16 sheet stock (composites). We are growing quickly and I'm exploring farming out some of the routing to a shop with more capacity than I have. Recently we have been routing approximately 75-100 sq ft/month. The jobs are approximately 12-16 minutes per sq/ft on my machines.

My primary goal is to increase capacity and possibly save time/cost with someone who can do it faster and more economically. (in that order)

We have 2 large 5-axis routers but do plenty of 2D work on them as well.
