Looking for a good screw machine source asap, delrin parts
We are a cnc shop that is looking to out source. I have a good customer that has us loaded down with 17-4ph and Delrin fittings. We are looking to source out ONLY the DELRIN parts. Good qtys, 5000-10000 pc. orders. I need some competitve shops that have open time. Unfortunetly its RIGHT NOW work. (is'nt it all) but I do have a six month contract on these parts. Customer has a good reporte with us, militray defense, worked with these people for 7 years. Any interested parties drop me an email or give me a call. PLEASE!! shops only apply that have decent automatics or CNC bar Machines with open time. Can't run these on a South Bend. Well, you probably could, but would only average about .10 and hour! Thanks Guys! John

Thanks, John MMC, Inc.
Anybody know how to contact John @ MMC Inc. I answered his request for a machine shop and recommended my dad's shop. The initial small quantity orders went well, but after running some larger quantity orders we have not been able to reach him. He has not been active on PM since October 2010. The phone message still answers as Micro Machine, but nobody ever answers or returns any calls.

That doesn't sound good. Did you get paid ???

Looks like Dad may have gotten stuck. I feel bad because I was the in between to set up this relationship.
Keep an eye out for this guy as he is still on CNC**** under PRATTGUY72.

I guess I can't post a link to CNC***. If you replace the asterisks with the name of the website it works.
Probably should start a thread with his name, address, and phone number in the title for Google.

Yep - you're right.
Posted about buying a machine only 3 weeks ago with the same phone number.
If the value is much, and you could afford the time, I would take a drive. He's obviously there.
Must be werking out of his home and be flying well under the radar as that biz name only pops up with that phone number on posts that he has made here and elsewhere.
Yep - sure "been busy with CNC werk".
Kant say that he's not lurking, but he aint logged in here since 10-01-2010.

Reason: had to erase some stuff as the lookup number switched on me somehow?

The first red flag should have been the location. After contact was made it turns out he, or the shop, is in North Carolina, not Conneticut. A Google mapview of the new location, where we sent the parts, shows just a house. Probably should have done this before doing business, education is expensive, although it seems I remember learning this lesson before. I have got some other work for my Dad though here that has worked out well though.

What a POS!!...and this guy had some nerve questioning my sale of a MMC book.

I'm not a law-yur, but if this was done over the internet wouldn't that constitute wire fraud? I'm pretty sure the Feds take that stuff pretty seriously.

The business itself was not over the internet, just the initial contact.

This is simple, you need to get yours... Take a drive, do some research, find out where he works if he has a day job. I will be the first to bad mouth Facebook but it is excellent for things like this. Some times you just have to let your inner THUG out. I talked to this guy and got a bad feeling from him and went no further. I personally would find out where I can catch him face to face (ie shop) and get yours, money shop stuff etc. I have never been a cop caller and I never will be. Getting anything from this scum bag is better than getting nothing.

Odd how the OP lists Stamford CT as location, yet the phone number comes up Wilmington, NC variously:
Micro matic precision Machine shop
3200 enterprise drive
Wilmington, NC,
28401
Gregory Gundlach
108 Hawthorne Dr
Wilmington, NC 28403
(910) 399-5954
Also saw an entry for MICRO-MACHINE CO.
