RFQ Custom Threaded Rod - 304 SS, 5/8" x 11, 84" total, 72" threaded - 180 pieces

Hello,

I am looking for a quote and lead time on the following:

180 pieces
5/8" x 84" round bar
304 SS
72" threaded @ 5/8" x 11 2A
12" left unthreaded
+/- .25" on length

Must be one piece with no welding or any other type of joinery.

Working on a price now, if you requested all thread it would be cheaper but I assume this is a special application

I know, I already requested a slight design change to allow us to use all-thread. It was a no go. I have to forge the un-threaded end into a hook and need specific dims for the final forging.

Wow, I don't know where it went. I edited it to add tolerances and it seems to have disappeared. Of course it was my first post so I am still trying to figure out how to make it re-appear.

Not to squash any of the PM guys who may have quoted, but if this application has lifting or risk of fatigue aspects, the threads really should be rolled, which will likely require a specialist like Ox suggested.
