SS Tapered Cone

I have a part I am trying to get made out of .06 304 Stainless. Overall length is 6.2", tolerances +/- 20 to give idea but can give more info once I find a shop to work with. I will attempt to attach views of the part. Qty would be 2 to start then 150 once inspected and okayed.

Your tolerance is very generous :-).

I should think there will have to be a weld in there somewhere. I can imagine some sort of fancy brake/press machine making this, then a welded seam to bring it together, but oh gosh, it's going to be expensive :crazy:

You might try asking these guys- Cones is what they do, in stainless, mostly for exhausts, but not exclusively.

Yes, a weld seem would be acceptable as long as it is blended nicely. No need to overtolerance. I have flanges made already and can be welded on after main body is complete.

Round cones is their thing. I run their cans on nearly all of my bikes. Good company.
