    Default DIY electric machinery mover

Here are some images of my DIY 12V electric winch machinery mover, which I used this past weekend to move 2 machines. Recut spool on winch
with V grooves to mate with multi-rib v belt ,also cut solid rubber wheel with v grooves. Wired thru switch to 12V battery. Belt is pressed between rubber wheel and floor to get clutching/traction action. Speed is slow, but it does allow 1 person to move a heavy machine long distances. Downward pressure on handle provides traction.
