Hello,
Ive had this lift truck for a while and has been a champ. Lately its been totally gutless.
Replaced fuel pump and filters and lubed up the distributer mechanical advance but still seems to be running very weak (not even able to drive up a slight incline)

I cant seem to find my model anywhere especially the rear axle steering model.

Does anyone know what model this is or better yet which motor it may have?

On the top of the flat 6 there is a stamp that is "Cl" with overlapping letters, Continental?

Thanks in advance,
Nicholas

See if there is a casting # on the head. Will start with a letter then 3 digits . like F600AXXX Most likely a F226 -F245 series engine.Running on gasoline? If stale you may have varnished up and stuck valves. First letter on casting #s will tell you the family/series of the engine. Sold lots of parts for Cont engines years ago. Soon as I saw the first pic I knew it was military!!

Hello everyone. I figured out the problem!
Somewhere along the line of replacing old parts, some plug wires had gotten switched so the firing order was off. Thanks for all in input!
