I made a ramp to remove an 800# welder from my pick up bed.

I made this video to show how I was able to make a ramp for under $100 to remove a welder from the bed of my pick up. The welder was loaded into my truck from a loading dock where I purchased it. An equivalent aluminum ramp cost around $700 which I didn't have at the time.

Looks pretty good.....now you need a 12 volt electric cable winch with wireless remote and you can do it much faster and by yourself.

Nice flip-flops. Those are not only great for moving heavy tippy stuff down flexible ramps, but also for welding.

It does not look like you have a ditch or slope in your front yard, but another option is to back your truck into a small one. It doesn't take much to make the gate level with the ground, or at least a lot less steep (if necessary, letting some air out of the tires).

Nice, an engine hoist works well for this also, especially if the welder didn't come on wheels.
