    Default Bobcad -> m32

    Working on hooking our ajv-25/404 with m32 up to bobcad. I can recieve a program at the pc, but when I try to send a program to the mazak, I get alarm 544-Tape Reader Mis-Connected.

    I got the null modem cable, 4800 baude rates, even parity and 2 stop bits on both ends, 7 data bits at the pc/8 data bits at the nc. I've switched parameters around a bit with no change.

    I'm using load/punch for the tape puncher/reader and it's port. Any ideas?

    Had a service guy in today-looks like a circuit board. EIA can be sent to a PC, Mazatrol won't go either way, and the CMT(?) won't go either. Should be doing some swapping in the next few days to see what's up.

    Circuit boards didn't change anything, seems to be some kind of timing issue with send/recieve signals. He found that a program can be sent from pc to machine by hitting start(recieving) then send on the pc as quick as you can. The slower you are with your timing, the more of your program you are missing in the machine. Argh.

    Default Microsoft!

    Hello,

    You might see how your p.c. is setup, sometimes the settings on the p.c. port in Windows can override your efforts. On the mazatrol only use the "tape" input output, I do know that much.
    I am not at the shop to see how we are setup but it is always a lot of fun. Also the header on your program can cause some real issues. I always start

    I would put money on the header of your program giving you a problem since it is a send issue.

    You might try the "wait for signal" on your p.c. If your comm dose not have that option you might find one that dose.

    Good Luck!
