Boring compensation incorrect on Powermaster Universal

Where I work we have a new Powermaster Universal. I programmed a bore using the rear turret and I noticed that if I have a radius in my tool data the tool path offsets the opposite way and cuts the bore undersize. The tool path graphics show it at double the radius amount smaller than what is programmed. If I leave the radius at 0 it follows the tool path fine, I just know none of my angles will come out write if I don't tell it the radius.

It seems like its reading the tool nose radius direction for the rear turret as a 3 when it should probably be a 2 as its cutting in -X for boring.

I know this really applies to EIA programming but I'm wondering if mazatrol uses a similar system that's changeable in the parameters.

It needed a software update.

So If you buy a new M-5 or Powermaster with a smart control make sure have them check for the latest update.
