We just got a M-630 - 6 Pallet and we got and Error 365 "ATC shifter was broken"
but it is still broken and not in the books.
any ideas?

Long shots.
Typical Japanese – English translation.
The mention of pallets, threw me for a moment. Normally expect for pallet changer errors, if you have just installed this. ATC – shifter. They would be good on that. ATC = Auto Tool Change. Try and work out what they might call the shifter in the Tool Changer. A swing arm or something. Some thing that’s not parked at end of stroke, or on its switch. Or has drifted in transport, or at the wrong end of its function.
You said you just got this machine. So your still in commissioning? Was any of the tool changer disconnected, maybe a problem there, just with a mistake, and not getting the correct I/O. – Phil.

The 'ATC SHIFTER' is the arm that moves between the tool magazine and the tool change position. In manual mode, if you press the ATC button near the bottom right hand corner of the control, the sodt-keys should allow you to manipulate the shifter arm, driving it between 'spindle side' and 'magazine side'.
