error... Mazak H400

Hello everybody! Newbie on the forum here making his first post.

A few weeks ago i bought a Mazak H400 machine, i got it home and got the power hooked up. This i the first mazak i ever been in contact with, so i am trying to learn. Its an older machine, -87 i think, with a M2 control.

Anyway i got this alarm message that says 291, and i cant get rid of it.
The book says, With the TOOL SELECT INTERLOCK on in the automatic operation mode, the TOOL SELECT command was given. This alarm can be turned off by turning on the FEED HOLD switch or by the reset button.

I have tried this but the alarm is still there. Hmm...

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Turns out that it was the switch on the back of the machine to run the toolmagazine that needed to be in the correct position when the machine is to run in automatic mode.
I have been chasing this for a few days, and it was that simple.

Well, now i can go on trying to understand that mazatrol...
