GTI spindle repair for Mazaks

Does anyone in the forum have experience with GTI in regards to spindle repair of any Mazak spindle? I would like to find out how they compare with Mazak's own spindle repair in terms of price, quality and turn-around.

I would be interested in anyone's experience with GTI regarding any spindle repair.

spindle rebuild

I use Spindles plus they are out of Ohio and the owner was the head of the Mazak spindle dept. for years. About half the cost of mazak rebuild and quick turn around. Google for phone #.

i have used GTI
they were fair and of average turnaround
nothing special but nothing bad
they did one of my small horizontals, the guy that pulled it because i was buried and had no time broke the rotary union but they replaced it no charge
machine is in service doing fine after 4 years
if were talking a little lathe i would not be afraid to get a mazak cartridge and stuff it in myself
it's all pretty straight forward
