Hi all,
I have a QT8 from '87 with a mazatrol EIA-T (meldas LOB) control which was left unused for a few months and restarted throwing up MPE MGE BAT alarms. Parameters seem OK but there has been corruption of offsets. MPE is listed as backup bat failure or GX 84 card failure, MGE as memory guard failure (parity check?). I let the machine run for a few hours and after switching off got 3.8V (3.6V 170mA battery) across the battery terms. After restarting the machine, alarms still present, I got 4.8V across the terms. Is this figure too high and indicative of a card failure? Any help welcome. Almost sleep time here in Oz, but I'll be back in the morn.
