Thread: lost LED lights on control panel-spindle speed, feed, rapid--HELP

we have a M-32 controller that has lost the LED lights for the spindle speed and feed. we have obviously lost the ability to control these things along with it. does anyone know what would cause this? all the other machines in the shop are up and running so i am very confident that we did not just have a power surge. we have a lot more sensitive machines than this one. thanks for any help.

Do you mean the lights on the spindle controller/drive or the lights on the operation panel? If it is on the spindle controller/drive then the power supply is probably bad. Mitsubishi will sell one to you or they will repair yours. Just be careful because it could be something hooked to the spindle drive that could be bringing the power supply down.

if the machine comes up but the control pad doesn't function i would say it's in the keypad or close by
