My 2003 SQT100MSY is starting to leak quite a bit of hydrolic fluid over the Z ways. We have had the machine for a few years and it started leaking about a month ago. I am just starting to look at it.
When I change the V.D.I. tooling, normal amout of Vartra #2 in there
Maybe 1/2 gallons every couple of weeks, all of the hydrolic fluid winds up in the drain pipe under the sub spindle, I think that is comming from the Z ways section but I do not know fro sure.
Machine sounds and runs great and no leaks are visable, there is some hydrolic fluid in the coolant, not too much and there does not seem to be a problem around the coupling between the block mounted on the crosslide and the back of the turret.
Let me know where to start, I am sure it is just regular ware, but I am sure it is not going to get better on it's own.
