Mazak VCN 510-C motor encoder question

Greetings.

We are facing an issue with the spindle motor (Mitsubishi).
We have changed the bearings as we got an alarm
for spindle malfunction,
and as a result there is an error on the encoder.
When we try to rotate the spindle (even by hand)
we get immediately an alarm and emergency stop.

What I am looking for is some information on the encoder
of a sj-4-vks15-13zt motor.
Do they sell these separately or together with the whole motor?
Do I have to contact Mitsubishi or Mazak for this?
Any idea/suggestion?

Thanks a lot in advance

I would start with Mitsubishi, in my experience they tend to be more helpfull to people diagnosing and repairing machines than Mazak, at least here in the states.

Cheers for the reply.

I found out that is the proximity sensor/encoder.
Does anyone know whether I can find this info in Mazak's books?
All I can read is CM16AC. The rest are sealed.
I found from some source in Asia (Malaysia or so)
and it appears to be of Mitsubishi.
I will give the a try.
Don't know what else to say/do

Hello everyone,
My problem with the Mazak VCN410A-11 CNC milling machine is the alarm message: no.10: Machine Detector Malfunction".
I had done changing the RD battery by following the instructions but still can't find the solution.
Hopefully somebody please give advice or help me to solve this problem and I am very appreciative of your help.

Thank you.
