I know it's a longshot because of how old the machine is but about 20 minutes ago the spindle tool holder on my machine, let go of the tool in a cut. The tool is alright and the part is fine. The problem is the mill. The tool holder inside the taper seems to have a couple jaws out of position. Has anybody ever had one of these apart or know how to fix this? It's break time now and I'll be getting back to it in half an hour or so. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll be calling Mazak momentarily also. Thanks!
